This is a newsletter about Psychology, Buddhism and everything in between. It is essentially about how to find access to the inner work helpful for you to navigate through life with less struggle. And how to learn more about yourself.
Welcome to all visitors from fabianluebke.com - this is now my main newsletter that might also include references to speaking events, other publications or discount coupons for my upcoming line of beauty products.
For a long time, I have stayed away from publicly sharing any insights about my own path in life, about my work as a Leadership Coach and Business Consultant, and especially about Meditation and self-awareness. However, I realized that it was mostly fear that held me back (Of course, as always, wrapped in a nice package of excuses).
I guess that over 10 years of working as a professional Coach, 14 years of Buddhist training, as well as being a husband and a father of four children must mean that there are things that are some things that are valuable to share.
I’ll also throw in an occasional cooking recipe - and, as I am infamous for sharing music with everyone close to me, an inspiring new album or youtube video.
Let’s start with the most simple recipe, not an actual dish but a quick and easy condiment, which - if you like spicy food - can be put on everything from roasted vegetables to dumplings to fried rice. It’s even good on a grilled cheese sandwich or straight from the jar for a quick and easy breakfast.
Gochugaru Chili Oil
Ingredients:
1 cup Neutral Oil
1/2 cup Korean Chili Flakes (Gochugaru)
Put the Chili Flakes in a heatproof container (Any glass container with relatively thick walls and a lid should do) and put the container on a small dish or other cleanable surface.
Heat oil in a sauce pan on medium heat. Once it’s hot (check with a wooden spoon if it bubbles a little), carefully pour the hot oil on the chili flakes. Stir briefly, then let it cool down.
It’s most flavorful after standing in the fridge or spice cupboard for about 1-2 days, but keeps virtually forever.
